Ouroboros is making a difference by both donating directly to the conservation of endangered animal species, as well as providing an opportunity that sparks the discussion of preservation. 100% of profit from our bracelets go directly to the Wildlife Conservation Network, an organization with a perfect score from Charity Navigator, who are dedicated to the preservation of several endangered species. The Wildlife Conservation Network puts 100% of its recieved donations towards smaller, and more speciialized groups with the same structure, ensuring that every dollar goes towards helping to restore each species.

The jewlery industry is a well established industry with many facets. From leather bands to gold bangles, bracelets can be found at just about every price point and serve a multitude of purposes. Ouroboros strives to stand out as both a casual accessory as well as a defining statement. We know that customers value customizability and high quality, so we make our bracelets to be as wearable as possible, with tasteful designs and premium materials.



THE COMPETITORS


While there are a lot of similar products on the market, Ouroboros offers something to customers that others cannot. Primarily, Ouroboros is one of the only bracelet companies that truly donates 100% of our profits to support endangered wildlife around the world. In addition to this, many other bracelet companies offering products of similar designs sell their products at a much higher cost–some going for as much as $40-$70 for a single bracelet. Without compromising the quality of these hand-crafted bracelets, we at Ouroboros are able to supply the same products at a lower price, while also making a positive impact on the planet we call home.

Advertisements and Promotions on Social Media

In order to reach a broader amount of people in our target market, we think that it's especially valuable to invest in social media and digital marketing. Given that today in order for an ad to make a true impression a user must interact with an on average 14 times, we feel that upping the amount of marketing would be highly beneficial.

Reaching out to Influencers and Youtubers

Influencers and youtubers carry a lot of power over much of the younger teen demographics. By partnering with those that embrace the Ouroboros lifestyle, we hope to expand our reach to a larger audience. Money in this category will help send influencers bracelets to wear, review, and post about with their audiences.

E-commerce

In order to keep selling our hand-crafted bracelets, we need to keep our current Squarespace site up and going to ensure that everyone can order an Ouroboros bracelet when they'd like.

WHAT WE'VE LEARNED


Altogether, the Lemonade Stand project was likely the most educational experience we’ve had at the Academy so far – acting as a culmination of everything we’ve learned across our classes. From pitches and design to development, every skill we’ve been working on was further honed and developed. The project, was also one of the most challenging ones we’ve undertaken all year, bringing out the best in every team member. While everything may not have gone as planned, the project was a truly unique opportunity to learn, grow, and bond with our team members.
